The Museum is dedicated to the preservation of the history, and future contributions of women in aviation and space, along with educational outreach to inspire children and young women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The exhibit area is located in the lobby and west concourse of the airport. Museum exhibits are open 7 days a week, from 8am-7pm and admission is free. The Fay Gillis Wells Research Center houses an extensive collection of materials on women in aviation and space history. The IWASM Office, Gift Shop and Research Center are open Monday-Saturday from 10am-4pm or by special appointment. Children can explore the wonders of aviation and aeronautics through interactive classes and activities in the Joan L. Hrubec Education Center open Saturday 11am-4pm, craft hour 1pm-2pm, $1 per child. Visit our website for special events and summer schedule.
