Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum

The music that in so many ways began shaping our American culture decades ago, and which continues to do so today, is celebrated here at this must-see attraction. From the Beatles to Green Day, the exhibits are world-class. Baseball Heritage Museum (photo)

Here, inside Cleveland’s historic League Park, where Babe Ruth hit his 500th home run, you can experience the stories of the Latin and Caribbean leagues, the Industrial and Barnstormer Leagues, and the Negro and Women’s leagues through photos, letters, programs, uniforms, and more. Hungarian Heritage Museum

Cleveland’s rich Hungarian culture is celebrated here with historical, literary, and artistic items, including textiles, paintings, and pottery. Learn how Hungarian immigrants helped shape Cleveland history. Open Tues.-Fri., 11am-3pm; Sat., special occasions only. Admission is free. Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage

This lively space encourages tolerance and understanding through its sharing of Jewish heritage and the American experience. Films, photographs, artifacts, and state-of-the-art exhibitions include an internationally recognized collection of Judaica and special themed exhibitions year-round. Polka Hall of Fame

Many consider Cleveland to be the “Polka Capital of the World,” and so it’s only fitting that the city is home to The National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame. Here the history of Cleveland-style polka sound and its musicians comes to life through audio exhibits, historic photographs, original instruments, and more.  Open Tues.-Wed., 11am-4pm; Fri.-Sat., 11am-4pm.
